There is nothing like a cozy scarf to help you fight cold weather. I actually will pull out a scarf when I feel a sore throat coming on no matter the weather. The key for me is that the scarf be warm, soft, and machine washable (ideally). I have two fleece scarves, one from REI and one from Lands’ End. I personally am a big fan of hot water bottles. They are warm, but not too hot – ideal in winter and cozy on chilly evenings (and mornings).
